When a customer leaves a good review, it’s natural you’ll want to scream from the rooftops. Our latest updates help you spread the good word a little quicker.
Cross Post to Facebook
If you have a Facebook page connected to your location, you can now instantly push any of your reviews received on other platforms as content to that page.
Choose the review from your review list (Reviews & Feedback > Reviews) and look for the Facebook icon below the review.
You can also let the platform do this automatically as good reviews come in. Head to Locations > Location Setup > [choose a location ] > Review Auto-promotion to get started.
Custom Email Sender Profiles
When you create a new account for a client, any emails they send will, by default, come from your reseller account email address (e.g. feedback@yourreviewcompany.com). While this is good to get them started, we recommend getting all of your clients set up with their own email sender profile, so the message comes from their domain.
In addition to helping with deliverability (their customers are far more likely to have received an email from them before), it will also help your campaign open rates. Recipients are far more likely to trust a message from a company they recognize.
There are two options, available in your client’s dashboard under Admin > Settings > Email Settings
1) Use their own sender name (no setup required)
They can use a custom sender name (For example, their name, their company name or another name that their customer will recognize) and a custom reply-to email address. This won’t change the from email address though. It will still be the default address for your reseller account.
This requires no setup on the user’s part and will help with open rates (as their customers will see a from name they recognize) but won’t affect deliverability.
2) Use their own email address and sender name
This is the option we recommend, but some setup is required on the user’s part to make it work.
This option lets you use any email address on your company domain along with any sender name and any reply-to email. This is only available for domains that you own and is not available for free webmail addresses such as Gmail (only free Gmail – Google Apps / Gsuite is fine), Hotmail or iCloud.
Your customers will need to add an entry to their domain’s DNS settings. These are called DKIM and Return Path records and they let email service providers know that we are authorized to send mail on your behalf. You can send email without this, but it’s likely that a significant amount of your sent messages could end up in spam.
Message Reports
Message reports show you every email or text message that the account has ever sent. You also have message reports in your Reseller dashboard, that shows the same information, but for every one of your client accounts.
You can also see whether the recipient opened the message and whether or not they clicked the link to take them to the feedback page.
If you would like to resend a message to a particular customer, you can click the gold resend icon on the right-hand side of the list.
To view Message Reports head to Reports > Message Reports from a client or reseller dashboard.
